LOST MITTEN - 90 features/90 days challenge
Lauren, from Canada, is the creator of the Etsy store: LOST MITTEN
As an artist she makes unique and original handmade crafts and geekey items. The following is an article that I took from the blog of Lost Mitten. I feel she can express herself so well in explaining just what her craft is:
"I love Japanese Washi / Chiyogami paper - the beautiful patterns, flowing designs, cranes and sakura blossoms, autumn leaves, lucky cats - you name it! A brief description of Chiyogami paper: "Chiyogami designs were developed in the Edo period as woodblock prints by papermakers. They were based on the bright kimono textiles which the papermakers saw on the fashionable wealthier ladies in the larger cities. Many of the symbols depicted resemble images from fancy kimonos: cranes for long life; bamboo for flexibility; plum blossoms and pine boughs for beauty and longevity."
Lauren creates pinback buttons and button jewelry for her Etsy shop made from the lovely Chiyogami paper.
Her other talents include knitting , crocheting, creating journals and other paper goods.
I would like to encourage you to visit her Etsy store to see all of the interesting works she has created:

Aprons are back and what fun to be able to wear a cute, stylish, apron whatever the occasion. My goal is to create aprons using the finest of designer fabrics and ribbons; creating aprons that you can be proud to wear ... creating aprons that are just a little bit "Over The Top"
