CAN SHE BAKE A CHERRY PIE?

Cherries and checks, the perfect combination for a kitchen apron. I am sure you just can't wait to get out the rolling pin and bake that cherry pie!

MY "ADOPTED GRANDDAUGHTER' Look at the Pretty Apron She Made!

My precious "adopted" granddaughter is so talented and such a busy young lady. She is 10 years old and with the help of her older sisters and her mother she completed this apron on her own. The project began with her picking out the fabric and trim. Because they live far away from the city, live on a ranch and have many animals she chose the cows. One of her daily chores is milking the goats which she does happily, gladly, and with a smile. She just feels it is her contribution to the whole big happy family.
For those young mothers with young girls this could serve as an inspiration as to just what a young girl can do.
While the family was visiting we celebrated an "early " birthday!
