Sarah Palin was just selected to be the Republican Vice Presidential nominee. For those of you who do not know, she was my first choice of all possible picks for a while.
She is not only competent, but she is extremely pro-drilling, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, a tax cutter, a waste reducer, and a champion against corruption. Best of all, to lock up the Hillary vote, she is a woman.
(this first two paragraphs were obtained from Copious Dissent with his permission)
And what better example could be made as a champion for prolife! She made a choice to allow her unborn son to live knowing that he would be born with a handicap. She made a choice to go against her doctors recommendation to terminate his life
. Women have always asked for a voice and what better voice could we have than a mother who would stand up for the right of her unborn baby.
Excitement is in the air!

Palin is a colluder of the worst sort. She is pro life, anti gay marriage and pro death penalty. None of these positions are pro woman, or feminist in any way. She has zero chance of getting HRC supporters because she supports everything that Clinton opposes.
Thank you Renee for your comments. I support Sarah Palin because she stands for the moral values that this country was built on. That's what great about America one of the basic values is Freedom of speech and that allows all of us to express our opinions. Thank you for visiting my blog.
I was thrilled to hear McCain picked Palin. I had heard rumors that she was on the list, and truly hoped she would be the one. She is awesome and a true conservative. I can't wait for the debates.
I am thrilled with McCain's choice. She is more in tune with everyday Americans. Thank goodness she is against abortion. She is a real go-getter who can make changes for our country and get us back to promoting morals.
No actually she stands for imposing her morals and her beliefs on others and that is problematic. I have no problem with someone choosing to have a child but they should not force that decision on anothers. Her decision to keep this child was made easier because of the class position that she is. Do you believe it would have been as easy for a woman on social assistance?
Thank you Vicki and Karen, diversity is what makes our country great. I appreciate your taking the time to stop and leave a comment!
She is my dream of a VP! Rene while I understand your take on it, I consider myself a pro woman person. My life is a lot like hers, PTA mom, mother of teens, gun owner. My family hunt and fish, it is a normal choice for conservative women.
I am just so happy he picked the absolute best choice for us! It takes guts to pick a great VP candidate!
Thanks Kathy for the visit. I firmly believe that one's life decisions are not made on class position or ease of choice but they are based on one's moral convictions, moral values and principles by which one lives out their life.
I agree McCain made a wise choice to pick Sarah Palin. She is a great role model for mothers, families and women in this country. Those who are pro-choice, etc are missing the boat when it comes to appreciating a woman of integrity and family values. The fact that she values life and family make her that much more impressionable and a bold move on McCain's part. I look forward to having a woman VP in the White House representing our country, women, families and special needs children as well. Watch for my future post related to Sarah Palin soon on my blog ☺
